Dear Benicio Samuel,
The Mexico 1930 Census indexing project is nearly complete! This record collection was one of the first projects we started indexing back in 2007. When it is published, it will contain over 15 million records—more than the current population of Guatemala. The state of Veracruz—the last portion of the census—is now 87 percent complete and will be finished this month. Many records from this collection are already searchable online—2,665,665 records and 380,782 images to be exact. You can search these records at familysearch.org, or click here to go directly to the collection page. With the completion of the census project, we have an exciting opportunity to participate in other Spanish indexing projects. We encourage all indexers and arbitrators that have worked on the Mexico 1930 Census to continue indexing to help increase the Spanish genealogical resources available online. A list of the 24 current Spanish projects and their status can be found below this message. Additional statistics and goals for Spanish indexing work can be found in the sidebar on the right. If you have not indexed recently, the indexing application and help resources are available on the FamilySearch indexing website at http://indexing.familysearch.org. Thank you for your interest and participation in the worldwide indexing effort! FamilySearch Indexing indexing.familysearch.org
