Dear Friends and Primos . .
January has certainly been filled with chaotic activity all over the
world. It is very
encouraging that available technology is opening avenues for bringing
understanding.
In all cases, historical facts helps us to understand what is happening. I
love the
statement by Senator Patrick Moynihan, "People have a right to their own
opinions,
but they do not have a right to their own facts."
One very positive effort for seeking and sharing facts is NBC's "Who do
you think
you are?" series. The genealogy of celebrities are researched and shared
with
fascinating and surprising information.
Launched last year, "Who do you think you are?" second season will be
aired soon.
Currently, all the full episodes are online now, but for a limited time
only.

A month ago, I stumbled across www.MexicanRoots.com . It is an excellent
website.
If you have Mexican roots, perhaps after viewing a couple of the "Who do
you think
you are?"segments you'll search through www.MexicanRoots.com . The web
master
Travis Templer plans to keep adding to it, so explore, revisit and find
out who you
really are. . . the facts are out there.
Good luck, Mimi
